About this course
Rescue Diver training combined with Emergency First Response (EFR) first aid and CPR. You learn to prevent problems, to help tired or panicked divers, and to manage emergencies at the surface and underwater. You must already be a certified Advanced Open Water Diver, or hold an equivalent certification.
Rescue Diver
Recognize and respond to diver stress, prevent problems before they become emergencies, assist tired or panicked divers, run rescue scenarios and work as part of a rescue team.
Emergency First Response
CPR, primary and secondary care, emergency response techniques, injury assessment and basic first aid. No medical background needed.

Know before you go
- ✓Advanced Open Water Diver certified, or an equivalent certification.
- ✓Minimum age 12.
- ✓Maximum 1 instructor to 4 students.
- ✓Diving requires good general health.
- ✓No flying for 18 to 24 hours after diving.
- ✓Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
- ✓Do not touch marine life. Do not dive with congestion, illness or dehydration, or after heavy drinking.
Cancellation
Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a 100% refund.
If the sea is unsafe, the dive is cancelled. You can move to another date or get a full refund.
More than 10 minutes late and we cannot reach you: counted as a cancellation, no refund.
