About this trip
A shore dive that starts right from the beach at Kata, with no long boat rides and a relaxed pace. It suits certified divers who want an easy dive, a refresher, or a short time underwater. Visibility is typically 3 to 10 meters, depending on weather, tide and season.
Walk in from the beach
You enter the sea directly from Kata Beach.
Three sessions a day
Dives start at 08:30, 12:30 and 15:00. The best time to dive is high slack tide.

Know before you go
- ✓Open Water certified or above. Bring your certification card.
- ✓Maximum 1 instructor to 4 divers.
- ✓Meet at our dive shop 20 minutes before your start time.
- ✓Nitrox is available as an optional extra.
- ✓No flying for 18 to 24 hours after diving.
- ✓Bring swimwear, a towel and sunscreen.
- ✓Do not touch marine life. Do not dive with congestion, illness or dehydration, or after heavy drinking.
Cancellation
Cancel at least 24 hours ahead for a 100% refund.
If the sea is unsafe, the dive is cancelled. You can move to another date or get a full refund.
More than 10 minutes late and we cannot reach you: counted as a cancellation, no refund.
